Join us for a unique adventure in the world of teas, with tea geek Ken Cohen. You will learn about this aromatic beverage
brewed from leaves of Camellia sinensis, an evergreen shrub native to East Asia. The host will teach you how to appreciate the aromas,
flavor, mouthfeel, and finish of each and every cup of tea. There will be 4 different teas for tasting, along with 3 cheese parings that
have been selected by our tea specialist.
About the Host
Ken Cohen is the creator and host of the podcast Talking Tea – Conversations About Tea and Tea Culture, and has organized
and hosted tea tasting events in Philadelphia and New York. He has trained in professional tea cupping and tea pairing at the World Tea
Academy, and also studies and practices Japanese tea ceremony in the Urasenke tradition. Ken has been a student at the Alliance since 2017.
