Both musiciens crossed paths in 2022 and uncovered the dynamic allure of synchronized improvisation. That's when they stumbled upon the sheer magic of duet performances and the finesse of improvising together—a format that just clicked for them. Together, they blend their strengths and unique artistic personas to craft a repertoire that is as original as it is timeless. Their music is a vibrant fusion of their shared love for organic, inventive expression. Whether they're delving into their own compositions or reinventing jazz standards, they infuse each note with fresh colors while staying true to the essence and authenticity of the music.
Drawing from the rich musical heritage of Philadelphia, they add layers of gospel, R&B, Afro-Latin beats, and free jazz to their
eclectic mix. It's all about breaking boundaries and pushing musical frontiers. They've got a global palette, pulling inspiration from all
corners of the world. Moreover, they pay homage to the legends who've paved the way—think Thelonious Monk, Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter, John
Cage, Maurice Ravel, Claude Debussy, Erik Satie, and other musical titans.
