Meet Philadelphia’s own “Madame Fromage” (aka Tenaya Darlington), a longtime cheese educator and author to learn about the local cheese scene, taste artisan cheeses, and enjoy a glass of wine with your fellow fromage-loving francophiles. Tenaya is a professor at Saint Joseph’s University by day, where she teaches Food Writing. By night, she curates cheese menus for two local restaurants and plans dairy-centric food tours around Europe for Cheese Journeys, a travel company focused on artisan wheels and wine. Tenaya is also the author of six books on food and drink, including Di Bruno Bros. House of Cheese and Madame Fromage’s Adventures in Cheese.*
Looking to enhance your holiday cheese selection? Join Madame Fromage to taste some exquisite wheels, and learn about sourcing, pairing, sharing, and storing cheese.
* The book Madame Fromage’s Adventures in Cheese will be available for purchase at the Alliance.
