Children Short Film Festival 2025 - Ages 3 and up

These four titles, presented by the French Film Institute, combine poetry and adventure while remaining accessible to young audiences.

They aim to awaken curiosity, offer a perspective on the world, and encourage the exploration of nature through adventures.

A grandfather explains to his grandson that he will have to take great care of his garden after his death. A touching and poetic discussion ensues about the traces left after the passing of a loved one.

One, two, tree

C'est l'histoire d'un arbre, un arbre comme les autres. Un beau jour, il saute dans des bottes et part en promenade, invitant tous ceux qu'il rencontre à le suivre : le train‐train quotidien se transforme alors en une joyeuse farandole.

This is the story of a tree, a tree like any other. One fine day, it jumps into a pair of boots and goes for a walk, inviting everyone it meets to follow it: the daily grind then transforms into a joyful farandole.

Le Tout petit voyage

Jean est témoin d’une chose extraordinaire : Titi sa perruche peut ouvrir la porte de sa cage ! Pourtant, l’oiseau ne part pas. Jean décide alors d’aider Titi à surmonter ses peurs au cours d’un tout petit voyage.

Jean witnesses something extraordinary: Titi, his parakeet, can open the door to his cage! Yet, the bird won't leave. Jean then decides to help Titi overcome his fears during a short trip.
